Young Legionnaire Premiere New Video “Numbers”

Bloc Party/Yourcodenameis: Milo amalgamation Young Legionnaire premiered their debut video for their new tune “Numbers” from the forthcoming inaugural release Crisis Works on SPIN.com yesterday.

YL have in fact been in existence since 2009, and although Bloc Party’s hiatus seems to be neither definite nor indefinite at the moment, it seems bassist Gordon Moakes isn’t hanging about with his fingers crossed. Young Legionnaire have the post-rock grit of YCNI:M – Paul Mullen’s vocals/guitars are easily recognisable to anyone who checked YCNI:M out during their hard-working existence – combined with the mainstream indie appeal of Moakes’ former group. Added to the pair is drummer Will Bowerman – formerly of I Was A Cub Scout.

Crisis Works drops on May 10 through all reputable retailers, and it certainly seems to be worth checking out. The video can be seen by clicking this link
