Goldfrapp Confirm New Album In The Works

Goldfrapp's Will Gregory has confirmed to BBC 6 Music that the time is right to get back on the Goldfrapp trail, after concentrating on other projects.

“I am ready to do it now, to get back to Goldfrapp will be a very refreshing change…we have, as usual, lots of stuff in the bottom drawer which we rejected the first time round, but I expect we'll want to start a fresh this time round.” he told the beeb.

Goldfrapp formed in 1999, and their next release will be their sixth album. Whether it leans to either ambient or euphoric remains to be seen, with Gregory stating that “nothing has been planned”.
