Jack White, 50% of now defunct White Stripes, is to produce a release by rock'n roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis, according to White's label, Third Man Records.
Lewis is performing a one-off show in honour of Record Store Day in Tennessee, and the concert is to be recorded “direct to analog tape” and produced by White for release soon after.
Whether or not this will quell the circling rumours over the past few weeks that White is working on a solo record remains to be seen; however, it cements the fact that there is life for White after the 'Stripes.
