California-based pop/rock outfit HELLOGOODBYE have announced live UK dates in May & June to support the release of their latest album Would It Kill You?, which is out now.
Would It Kill You? is their first release since 2006's Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! – which peaked at number 17 in the UK album chart.
The group have since left Drive-Thru Records, tinkered with their line-up and toured the world extensively – and frontman Forrest Kline offers some insight into why it's taken six years for another album:
“I’m super slow at everything no matter what I do,” Kline explains when asked what the process of writing and recording Would It Kill You? was like. “If I’m going to clean out my closet it’ll take me all day because I’ll empty out the whole thing, then I’ll paint it, then I’ll tear off the drawers and get new hardware. Everything becomes a process and musically it’s the same thing.”
HELLOGOODBYE are due to play Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, London & Birmingham in May & June – more info of these dates you can find on their website (link).
