THE SISTERS OF MERCY have announced a show at London’s Roundhouse venue in Camden Town this November. The pioneering rockers will throw an unforgettable party in England’s capital as part of the worldwide celebration of their 30th anniversary, which will have seen them setting up “party zones” in Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Finland and Japan, as well as their first UK festival appearance in 20 years at SONISPHERE KNEBWORTH.
“Be advised that the Sisters are going on tour again.” warned the band on the anniversary tour. “We will behave very badly. We will wear some very loud shirts. We will wear some very wrong trousers. We will perform some very legendary rock music. It's what we do.”
That THE SISTERS OF MERCY have maintained such a huge and loyal fanbase over the course of three decades despite releasing just three studio albums, all of which enjoyed Top 20 chart positions and Gold or Silver status in this country, is testament to their incredible live shows, where fans flock to see classics such as “Dominion”, “Temple Of Love” and “This Corrosion” alongside newer material, which although not officially released, have become favourites with fans regardless.
