Introducing: Tides From Nebula

Tides From Nebula are a post-rock band from Warsaw, Poland. I don't know about you, but I'm all up for hearing sub-verse genres from sub-verse countries. Nothing against post-rock. Or Poland.

Quite the opposite, in fact; traditionally, you hear post-rock and think “Iceland” (Sigur Ros), “Canada” (Godspeed You! Black Emperor) or “Sweden” (Jeniferever). “Poland” would probably not be on my list of top 30 post-rock producing nations – and that's a great thing.

Good on Tides From Nebula. They make fantastically epic, fantastically emotional post-rock with more perfect cadences than you can shake a stick at. They've got a few tracks on their Soundcloud page (embed above), and have an album Earthshine coming out May 9th. I can't wait.
