Malachai – the duo from Bristol – have enlisted the help of John Minton to direct their latest music video. While his name might not be instantly recognisable, he's directed videos for the likes of Portishead and A Hawk And A Hacksaw, as well as winning the BAFTA for best short film in 2009.
The release of the single – scheduled for spring 2011 – will include remixes from Bristol dustup artist Parker, disco/folk/psych band Pink Fingers, and British producer extraordinaire Paul White. You can check out all the remixes by following this link.
“Anne” is the second single from Malachai's second album Return To The Ugly Side – and the duo, G and Scott, will be performing at this year's Glastonbury on the 24th June.
