Rockness Looks For Emerging Talent

The Rockness Festival is looking for 20 UK based bands to perform on the Sound City Stage across the weekend.

The festival will take place near Loch Ness between June 10 and 12. The headliners for the three nights are Kasabian, The Chemical Brothers and Paulo Nutini, who wil be supported by many more bands.

All submissions will be listened to and judged by worldwide promoters, Jim King, RockNess Festival Director, Dave Pichilingi, Liverpool & Dubai Sound City Festival Director and Goldenvoice Promoters Simon Jones and Carlo Scarampi.

They will decide the twenty lucky winners who get to share a bill with some of music’s big names. The judges will watch each performances and RockNess fans will be able to vote for their favourite act of the weekend.

The winning act will be decided the day after the festival and will be showcased across the RockNess and Sound City communities and will win a support slot on a forthcoming UK Goldenvoice tour in the 12 months following the festival.
