Secret Cities Release Video For “Always Friends”

Started by MJ Parker and Charlie Gokey at the tender age of 15, Secret Cities grew out of a shared love of psychedelic pop and a pen-pal arrangement with the pair trading 4-track tapes through the post. The duo expanded to a trio, with the addition of fellow Midwesterner and kindred spirit Alex Abnos on drums. After a few small releases on Baltimore's Fall Records, they released their full length debut Pink Graffiti in 2010 on Western Vinyl.

Above is the video for their single “Always Friends”, which features a lovely use of split-screen to tell two stories. Try keeping an eye on each side without becoming cross-eyed. I dare you!
