Dot To Dot Festival

This years Dot To Dot Festival takes place over three days at the end of May in three different cities. Saturday 28th in Bristol, Sunday 29th in Nottingham and Monday 30th in Manchester.

Considering the festivals rich musical pedigree (previous years have included, Mumford & Sons, Ellie Goulding, The XX, Foals and Glasvegas)it is no surprise that this years line up is again impressive.
We Are Scientists bring their unique brand of indie rock to the festival along with The Naked And Famous, Guillemots and many more. Manchester’s very own synth pop duo Hurts are billed as headliners, their homecoming show on the Monday will be worth the admission price alone.
Dot To Dot is perfect for those of us who want the festival experience of eclectic bands and DJ’s but could do without the delights of rain, mud and trench foot that the British summer often throws at us. Each city will be dedicating several venues to house the events:

BRISTOL VENUES: Anson Rooms | Thekla | The Fleece | The Cooler | The Louisiana
NOTTINGHAM VENUES: Rock City | Rescue Rooms | Trent Union | Stealth | The Bodega
MANCHESTER VENUES: Academy 1 | Academy 2 | Academy 3 | Club Academy | Deaf Institute | Sound Control

Through the years Dot To Dot has always had its finger on the pulse of new up and coming music. So in addition to the more recognisable acts on the bill, there’s also an impressive collection of breakthrough acts at this years festival. York based singer songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich will be worth checking out and we’ve got a sneaky feeling Essex five piece Morning Parade may just steal the show.
