Avril Lavigne Announces First UK Shows Since 2008

Pop-punk princess Avril Lavigne has today announced two live dates in the UK – her first since 2008.

She'll play HMV Hammersmith Apollo (London) and O2 Manchester Apollo on the 21st and 23rd September 2011 respectively. Tickets are likely to be in high demand, and go on sale on Friday May 27th.

Lavigne released her forth studio album Goodbye Lullaby earlier this year, which reaffirmed her status as a six times platinum artist.
