Dananananakroyd – Muscle Memory
Disjointed, stammering rock gushes out and a streetwise edge attaches to the contribution of lead vocalist, Calum Gunn. This boisterous sextet flagrantly advertises their abandon, ‘Muscle Memory’. A jarring feel is given out through the rattling percussion and chiming guitars, as an iForward Russia! vibe starts to spew out and the track rattles into post-rock territory.
As their sophomore album approaches, striking vocal back and forth interludes give the paranoid chaos of the instrumentals, increased impact. The unpredictable and promising reputation already garnered by Dananananakroyd, looks set gain enough momentum to get even more out of control. That is just what the rock music scene needs, right now.
