Here we have the latest set of future thrillers from uber-hip record label Kitsune Maison. Now offering their 11th collection, the house usually associated with dance records merge those leanings with indie rock for this effort to startling effect. You’ll find up tempo party anthems such as House De Racket’s “Roman” and digital pop from Cosmonaut alongside an alarming synth rock instrumental in the form of “Miami Spider”, from Gallops. 

If you’re looking for in insight into current alternative then you need look no further than this impressively assembled collection, and highlights such as the edgy electro throwback number “Creep” from Days inspire. No doubt some of the acts will go on to be stars of the modern, while others will get caught in the sound-a-like mire: if there was any weakness here it would be that you could be forgiven thinking that some tracks here are by already established artists, such is the sound of the now on show.
