Classical crossover kings Il Divo have confirmed that they are to perform at the London Coliseum on August 2nd alongside the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.
In what will be their first live show in London for almost two years, Il Divo will perform at the home of the English National Opera – unveiling songs from their eagerly anticipated new album set for release this November.
Recently named Artist of the Decade at the Classic BRITS, Il Divo are the most successful international break-out story of this millennium, selling more than 25 million albums and singlehandedly inventing the classical crossover genre. The group have over 150 gold and platinum awards in 33 countries.
Selling over two million concert tickets, their recent “An Evening With Il Divo” tour (which spanned most of 2009) saw their full arena show travel six continents, with over 130 dates being played that year.
In comparison, the Coliseum seats just over 2000 people – tickets are sure to be in high demand. They go on sale on Friday June 3rd at 9:30am. More information can be found by following this link.
