In Honour Of The Wombles Reforming For Glasto…

…Above is the classic video for their hit “Remember You're A Womble”.

News surfaced last week that the group have began rehearsing for the festival – of which they are sure to go down a storm amongst the Glastonbury faithful.

The group, best known for tracks “Remember You're A Womble”, “Wombles On Parade” and “Wombling Song” are in fact fictional animals that are said to collect and recycle rubbish in ingenious ways, and became famous across the UK in the 1970's in a children's television show.

If anyone drops rubbish at this year's Glastonbury, you'll have The Wombles to answer to.
