Coldplay Label Mates Play This Feeling Club!

On Saturday June 11th at The Queen of Hoxton, This Feeling will be blasting into orbit, serving up a sumptuous sonic soup of music, with live sets showcasing a clutch of exciting new talent.

Essex-based Coldplay label-mates Morning Parade will be performing the kind of distinctive and uplifting dance-rock anthems that have won them an army of fans and made their forthcoming debut album, ‘Under The Stars’, one of the most keenly anticipated of the year. With a euphoric sound shaped with nods to Elbow and Radiohead, as well as thumping nineties dance anthems, Morning Parade have been recording their debut at Damon Albarn’s ’13 Studios’ and are ready to blow the roof off This Feeling.

Major players on the Manchester music scene, past and present, including Johnny Marr, Elbow and Doves, agree that The Rainband are going places… with expansive, guitar-driven sound scapes inspired by the majesty of Richard Ashcroft and Doves, The Rainband release new single ‘She’s A Rainbow’ on June 27th and make their London debut at This Feeling.

Surrey blues/rock four-piece, Warehouse Republic, sold out the 100 Club late last year, shortly before producing their debut single, ‘Revolver’, with help from Basement Jaxx and a Hollywood actress. Warehouse Republic will be smokin’ up This Feeling with their own unique brand of hook-laden electric blues.

Completing the bill, East London psychedelic punk-rock outfit, The Munroes, boast big riffs, powerhouse drums and vocals, and have a fast growing reputation for putting on a blistering live show.

PLUS DJ SETS FROM

STEVE HARRIS (XFM), SHE BANGS THE DRUMS, SOUL BOY MYSTIC COLLECTIVE, COOL BRITTANIA, and NINETIES MIKE

On hand, satisfying revelers all night long, This Feeling’s Resident DJs will be blasting out classic anthems across two rocket-fueled floors (not forgetting the magnificent roof-top garden bar), rattling out tune after Terry and June from the likes of Kasabian, Oasis, The Coral, Brother, The Beatles, The Stone Roses, The Chemical Brothers, The Who, Primal Scream, Beady Eye, Supergrass, Pulp, BRMC, Blur – all the best – as if their very existences depend upon it.
