Wakey! Wakey! – Light Outside
Feel good, uplifting, key tinkered soul-pop-indie is delivered in a soaring manner with belief, a dreamy toe and sincerity by Michael Gubbs. ‘Light Outside’, builds from a weaving key intro, it provides a red carpet for the slightly stammering delivery of the life enhancing lyrics.
A lobbing feel adds to the chilled out impact, as the eclectic influence of Gubbs start to pay off and the door is well and truly closed on any feelings of falseness. All that’s needed is a change in the weather in order to properly accompany this upbeat summer tune.
