Described by the Guardian as 'London's trendiest festival', The 1234 Festival has announced its full line up for the event that takes place in Shoreditch on Saturday, July 9th.
Headlining this year is The Black Lips, backed by The Raveonettes, Lydia Lunch, The King Blues, Damo Suzuki, Zombie Nation, The Chapman Family, Black Strobe, Autokratz and Becoming Real.
Founded by influential London promotor Sean McLusky, this year's event continues the tradition of compiling a roster of artists at the tipping point and putting them on stage. Sean comments on how the focus has always been on raw talent: “We are not interested in booking agents and record label schedules, we are interested in the sheer audacity and bluster of the Rock n’ Roll Beast”.
Previous acts to play the festival include Florence and the Machine, Lightspeed Champion, Har Mar Superstar with Fab Morreti from The Strokes, Patrick Wolf and Wavves.
