The Subways Announce New Album, UK Tour

Following the releases of a free download via their website last week, The Subways have announced a UK tour for September, coinciding with the release of what will be their third album.

Money and Celebrity is to be released on September 19th on Cooking Vinyl, with the UK tour kicking off in Oxford in the same week.

The tour will be the Welwyn Garden City trio's first outing since October 2008. The band rose to prominence after winning a competition to play at Glastonbury and subsequently releasing their debut album Young For Eternity in 2005.

The Subways released the brand new track “It's A Party” last Thursday (16th June) via their website, with over 1000 downloads in its first hour of being live. To date, over 10,000 copies have been downloaded.
