The Sound Of Arrows Launch Short Film To Accompany New Single “Magic”

The Sound Of Arrows release their new single “Magic” on July 25th on Geffen – with the Swedish duo making a short film to accompany it.

Set in a world where all adults have disappeared, the video features parent-less children wandering free across the city, eventually stumbling upon a hidden enclave of magical creatures that become their friends and protectors. As you do.

As with their past videos, “Magic” was conceived and filmed by the band themselves, and co-directed by Andreas Öhman. It was shot in the surrounding areas of a small Spanish village, two hours outside of Madrid.

Explaining their absence from the video, half of the duo Oskar Gullstrand comments that the video is intended to be “childlike and youthful, and true to the song. When we were thinking about the video, Stefan and I first came up for about 200 ideas for a feature film…this is meant to be the trailer for that film. We wanted to capture that feeling”.

The Sound Of Arrows are playing festivals in the UK and Europe this summer, including Blissfields, Melt Festival (GER), Lovebox and Pukkelpop (BEL). More information can be found by following this link.
