Scissor Sisters Announce UK Racecourse Shows

To coincide with their headline performance at Lovebox Festival next Sunday, Scissor Sisters have confirmed a series of UK racecourse headline shows for the coming weeks – as well as a book signing session.

Fresh from their appearances as part of Lady Gaga's worldwide Monster Ball Tour, Scissor Sisters kick off the run of shows at Haydock Park Racecourse, Liverpool on July 16th – the day before their Lovebox appearance.

On headlining Lovebox, Ana Matronic commented: “It's appropriately named, this Lovebox festival, seeing as how I love every single name on this lineup.  Booty-shaking, hands-in-the-air, smiles-on-faces fun will be had, friends. This, people, is going to be hot.  I can’t wait.”  

July 18th also sees Jack Shears of the band doing a London instore book signing to launch 'One Day in the Life of Jake Shears', a book of photographs taken by American photographer Tim Hailand.
