Warm Brains – Let Down / Stone to Sand to Glass

Warm Brains is a new guise of multi-talented London-based musician, Rory Attwell. Best known for being a member of Test Icicles, as well as countless other bands, he is highly-sought after as a producer.

Promoting the release of his debut album in August 2011, ‘Old Volcanoes’, Warm Brains has released this double-A single.

Lead single, Let Down exudes a brash and disharmonic 90s alt-rock sound. Featuring the vocal talents of Florence Van Camerijk from Paradise, this track is punchy and catchy.

Stone to Sand to Glass, you hear a more guitar-led, emotive and haunting sound. You find yourself being easily lost in its eerie intricacies. Showing us that there is diversity to be had, you are left wondering what to expect from the album.

All-in-all, there is much to look forward to in Warm Brains’ musical endeavours.
