Fresh from a frankly stunning appearance at Glastonbury, New York trio Battles are to release their new single “My Machines” on August 15.

The single features none other than Gary Numan on vocal duties, and has been described as 'an album highlight' by the NME.

Numan explains: 'Working with Battles was an easy choice for me. They have a unique approach to making music and a clear idea of what they want. They are inventive, adventurous, unpredictable and I'm proud to be involved.''
