London indie-rock trio Let's Wrestle have announced details of a new single and UK tour.
Single “If I Keep Loving You” is set for an August 1st release through Full Time Hobby, and is the latest track to be taken from current album Nursing Home.
Additionally, the band are to embark on a UK tour this week, kicking off in London on July 14th. The tour follows recent shows with Yuck, Fucked Up and Half Japanese.
The new single is accompanied by a brand new track entitled “Dick In My Zipper” as a B-side. Frontman/songwriter Wesley Patrick Gonzales comments:
“ ‘If I Keep On Loving You’ was written just before going to record ‘Nursing Home’. It was the last song we worked out properly (apart from ‘I Am Useful’, which was built up part by part). It is the Most New Wave-y song on the record which is cool I feel like I'm wearing a very thin tie whenever we play it. It is my favourite loud song on the record. ‘Dick In My Zipper’ was written ages ago. It’s about my friend Adam, he was unemployed and alone, exactly like I was. That summer we bonded over how pathetic we were and just did nothing (sometimes he would tell me the rules of Cricket). Then within the space of about a month Adam had a job at Metropolis studios as a Mastering Engineer (and mastered ‘Nursing Home’), a French girlfriend and a new flat in Hackney with double-glazing. I had nothing. I had my Dick In My Zipper!”
