Free mp3: Lucas Santtana Announces Album Details
Brazilian Lucas Santtana has announced that his new album Sem Nostalgia is to be released in the UK on August 22nd through London-based Brazilian label Mais Um Discos.
As a preview, Lucas is offering a free download of the track “Cira, Regina e Nana” via the Soundcloud embed above.
Santtana has drawn comparisons to Tom Ze, Thom Yorke and Fourtet, and has become one of Brazil's most interesting, dynamic and experimental singer/songwriter/producers. Using samplers, pedals, filters and often non-conventional recording techniques, he creates haunting, disorientating soundscapes that have to be heard to be believed.
