Xzbit – the man who is as comfortable in the booth as he is in front of camera, is to tour the UK this coming October, it has been announced.
A platinum recording artist first and foremost, X first came to the attention of hip-hop listeners as part of rap collective The Likwit Crew, before releasing his 1996 debut At The Speed Of Life that housed West Coast classic “Paparazzi”.
Mainstream success came courtesy of an appearance on Snoop Dogg's “B Please” – I'd imagine I don't have to tell you what the 'B' stands for – and a spot on Dr. Dre's 'Up In Smoke' tour beckoned.
A household name, X has never forgotten his roots. “I still love it as much as I did when I first burst through the door,” confirms X, “And I'm going to keep spitting like I'm that unsigned kid desperate to showcase himself.”
Xzibit kicks off his UK tour on October 19th in Glasgow, with dates in Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and London following. More information can be found by following this link.
