Tower Heist Poster

We don’t quite know what to expect from this one. The cast is a mix of highly impressive, to quirky, to who? to why?

So we have a couple of still hot, yet flagging leading actors (Stiller, Murphy) leading a team including proper actors (Casey Affleck, Michael Pena) and a has been (Matthew Broderick).

The tagline about it being payback suggests this is trying to cash in on the whole Ocean’s 11 (which makes us wonder what Affleck is doing here?) comedy caper with little to no violence. The oceans films came and went and there hasn’t been too much fuss about wanting more. So you have to wonder why they would try to cash in on something that could already be dead. But then Brett Ratner is calling the shots which might go a little way to explaining why. Still could have been worse; could have featured Martin Lawrence as well.
