My Tiger My Timing - Endless Summer
Album Review

My Tiger My Timing – Endless Summer

After performing on the John Peel stage at Glastonbury this year, My Tiger My Timing are certainly getting themselves heard on the scene. This five piece electro pop band have a lot of tunes in their armoury ready to go but it’s their single ‘Endless Summer’ that is sure to be the one that you will start hearing on the radio.

After the intro consisting of stylish keyboard playing, the song finally takes off, the bass was the first thing I was drawn to, although nothing special, the way the band have used it for ‘Endless Summer’ is something quite impressive as it also draws in hypnotic beats too to give it a somewhat electro feel. The vocals to ‘Endless Summer’ is something a mix, upon first hearing the vocals, it gives off a innocent like sound but somewhere along the line, you can’t help but feel there is a rather edgy side to the way in which Anna Vincent is delivering on the vocal front.

The simple demand Anna Vincent singing about having an endless summer is something we all wish could happen to us and in particular, this time of year. It’s a bit of coincidence that the release of this single comes at the time of the festival season but it doesn’t matter really where you listen to this tune, in the car, in your office, wherever, you can’t help but also share these purring little tigers dream of having an ‘Endless Summer’.
