Never Come Back - Hyde & Beast
Album Review

Never Come Back – Hyde & Beast

Brooding, slow building poetic indie ballad skirting sees The Futureheads’ drummer Dave Hyde getting accustomed to the front man role. Before the track spurts out, horn fuelled positivity and the longing lyrics are contrasted by an upbeat chorus.

Shimmering percussive touches of the ex-Golden Virgin, Neil Bassett lends for a reflective conclusion. A neat mixture of carnival spirited volume and twining guitar interludes gives the track a moody and varied feel.  Hyde & Beast look set to give the lighter end of indie some volume and range.
