There’s an attempt at a Plain White T’s ‘Delilah’, from this ranging Stockton outfit by stepping back and delivering a swooning, peaceful ballad, ‘Red Bricks’. This is certainly a departure from their laboured rock littered approach.
Rhythm, heart and the help from tapping percussion, leads up to a mildly symphonic chorus. This single is probably best appreciated on the debut album, ‘Curse Of Love’. On this it comes a across as a fresh new direction, but as a single it doesn’t standout much from the plethora of aching ballads already out there.
