Former Coral Bill Ryder-Jones Announces Debut Solo Album Details

Bill Ryder-Jones releases his debut solo album If… on November 14th, is has been announced.

Recorded to soundtrack Italo Calvino's meditation in the post modernist novel If On A Winters Night A Traveller, it is the first solo effort from Ryder-Jones following his departure from The Coral.

The Coral's last release with Ryder-Jones – fifth studio album Roots & Echoes – showcased his arrangements and hinted at something deeper in Bill's locker. If… provides the framework for him to explore his talent to its pinnacle.

The album was recorded in various locations around Ryder-Jones' hometown of Liverpool – including the Scandinavian Church and the Grade II listed warehouse Warehouse Studios – not to mention his mother's house.
