The Narcoleptic Dancers - RASTAKRAUT
Album Review

The Narcoleptic Dancers – RASTAKRAUT

A soft harmony laden accompaniment paves the way to the stirring, carefree, yet thought delivery of Melody Van Kappers, as simplistic lyrics are delivered with an endearing charm for this pop-folk sojourn, ‘RASTAKRAUT’. This quaint, cosmopolitan half-sibling pair uses a slightly fuzzy, key-led intro’ to create an air of bemusement and mild confusion.

Building upon the relative success of their first EP, ‘Not Evident’ in 2010, The Narcoleptic Dancers vibe here is one of a thoughtful Dear Eskimo. This number is inviting, yet a little mysterious in its simplicity. This makes for a perfect pop-folk crossover of a number.
