The Smashing Pumpkins Announce UK Tour

The Smashing Pumpkins – Billy Corgan, Jeff Schroeder, Mike Brynre and Nicole Fiorentino – are to return to the UK this November for a seven date tour, it has been announced.

The tour – that includes two nights at London's O2 Academy in Brixton – kicks off at Manchester's O2 Apollo on November 11th and calls in on Glasgow, Newcastle, London, Sheffield and Birmingham.

The band are one of the most widely acclaimed of a generation, having sold in excess of 30 million albums – and the group are now hard at work putting the finishing touches to Oceania, their first full album since 2007's Zeitgeist.

Oceania is to feature 13 new songs and will be released in early 2012. More information can be found by following this link.
