LOVEFiLM And Studiocanal Sign Exclusive European Content Deal
LOVEFiLM and STUDIOCANAL have signed an exclusive long-term deal in the UK and Germany giving LOVEFiLM members access to the portfolio of new and library movies from the leading international film distributor for a 12-month window.
UK and German members of LOVEFiLM, Europe’s largest subscription service – streaming movies and TV episodes over the Internet and sending DVDs by post – will be the first to instantly stream all of STUDIOCANAL’s latest and future releases, through the LOVEFiLM Player, either on the PC, via in-home connected living room devices, or on the PlayStation®3. STUDIOCANAL’s new releases will be exclusively available to LOVEFiLM members who subscribe to streaming as part of their package.
LOVEFiLM will also partner with STUDIOCANAL to support its UK and German titles from early stage production; including additional distribution support through theatrical, home video and streaming on-demand releases.

LOVEFiLM will continue to rent all available STUDIOCANAL DVD and Blu-ray titles via its online rental-by-post service.
