Swinging, stylish pop superstar Caro Emerald will bring to a close a staggeringly successful year with her new single ‘Stuck’, a high-tempo, exuberant pop number that possesses charm and wit in abundance.
A record-breaking star in her Dutch homeland, in 2011 Caro’s debut album ‘Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor’ has resonated with audiences all over Europe. On these shores it is certified gold and became the sleeper hit of the summer, scoring 10 weeks in the Top 10 Album Chart and peaking at number 4. In November the album will be reissued as a CD/DVD double pack, featuring a triumphant live concert recorded at Amsterdam’s Heineken Music Hall.
2011 has delivered a succession of highlights for the singer whose chic image and effortless marriage of 50’s inspired salsa, samba and jazz with a contemporary pop vigour marks her out as a true original.
