The Moet British Independent Film Awards

This Sunday 4th December at the Old Billingsgate Market the Moet British Independent Film Awards took place hosted by Irish actor and comedian Chris O’Dowd.

And it may be a case of the “Irish” are coming as lead and supporting acting awards went to Michael Fassbender for his turn in Steve McQueen’s Shame; and supporting honours went to Michael Smiley for his role in Ben Wheatley’s Kill List.

Awards were spread alroad though to various films – the only one that seemed to take most of the atttention was Paddy Considine’s Tyrannosaur (who may as well be Irish with a name like that).
