SHAMELESS is back onto DVD with their Eighth series which is released onto DVD from 9th January 2012, the Eighth series of Shameless introduces us to a new family, The Powells, includes the 100th episode of Shameless and Frank’s stag night!
As Shameless has gone stateside, we thought we would look at other TV shows that are just too good to stay in the UK. And quite frankly it would be rude to deprive our American neighbours from such great viewing.

The X Factor started in 2004 and 8 series later, the public are still hooked. X Factor US has only had its first season but is already planning for 2012 to be bigger and better!
Strictly Come Dancing/Dancing with the Stars

Strictly Come Dancing took the nation by storm in 2004, leading to the first broadcast of the US version, Dancing with the stars two years later.
2 The Office

This may be the only TV series that has managed to carry off English humour, in the America version of show, making The Office high on our list.
3 Shameless
After running for 8 years in the UK (Channel 4’s longest running, multi-award winning series) and with Series 8 just about to be released onto DVD, Shameless is doing well in the US as it’s onto the second series already!

4 Misfits

As the third series of Misfits is now available on DVD, it’s been revealed that US producers have heard about the Misfit epidemic and will try and re-create the show…watch this space.
