Bleech are releasing their new single ‘Mondays’ on April 16th on Billie Records. The track, which has already been featured on BBC’s hit drama series ‘Waterloo Road’ is taken from the trio’s upcoming debut album ‘Nude’, which is scheduled for release this summer.
Bleech consist of sisters Jennifer and Katherine O’Neill and their schoolmate Matt Bick. Despite not being old enough to drink when they first got together, the band have seen their previous singles lauded by the likes of NME, Rock Sound and Clash Magazine.
“I’m happy when I’m happy, happy when I’m sad, I’m happy cos it’s Monday” belts out the chorus, which will be ingrained in your memory from the very first listen, showcasing the band’s ability to write brilliantly catchy melodies within their upbeat and thoroughly enjoyable tunes.
Touring with the likes of Wolfmother and The Joy Formidable and support slots with The Charlatans, The Subways and Pete Doherty amongst others have allowed the band to hone their live sound and performance, helping build a formidable reputation and driving them to become the first resident band for Club NME at London’s KOKO.
The band are heading out on live dates over the next coming months in the UK as well as abroad, including a slot at Club NME and the Now We Are Weekender, alongside the likes of Art Brut, in April with a headline show at Camden’s Barfly on April 2nd – the perfect opportunity to see Bleech in the environment they were made for.
