The Madonna dance party keeps getting bigger. Following their exuberant appearance at the Bridgestone Super Bowl halftime show, LMFAO are taking their party rock anthems on the road and will join the line-up when Madonna performs for one night only at London’s Hyde Park. Also just confirmed, special guest Martin Solveig.
With confirmed sell outs and multiple show announcements throughout Europe and North America, Madonna’s 2012 World Tour is set to begin May 29th in Tel Aviv and will stop in 26 European cities before starting in North America in August, followed by a return visit to South America as well as Australia, where she has not performed in 20 years.
‘MDNA’ – Madonna’s 12th studio album released Monday of this week – is No.1 on iTunes in over 40 countries. With brilliant reviews coming in throughout the world….“The album should be the spine of an incredible live show – just what her army of followers will want to hear.” – The Sun

Global sales for LMFAO’s sophomore album ‘Sorry For Party Rocking’ (Party Rock/will.i.am/Cherrytree/Interscope) has now surpassed the two million mark. The album has produced two hit singles, ‘Party Rock Anthem’ – which reached No.1 in the UK and in a number of countries and ‘Sexy And I Know It’ – which also topped the US and global charts. The video <link> for third single ‘Sorry For Party Rocking’ premiered on E! last week and has had 9 million views on VEVO. It features LMFAO and the party rock crew in full on house party mode.
LMFAO’s ‘Party Rock Anthem’ has surpassed the 10 million global sales mark and ‘Party Rock Anthem’ was the No.2 top selling song of 2011 on iTunes in the US, behind Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep’ and the No.1 selling song on iTunes in the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden. The video has seen over 360 million views on VEVO and was featured by KIA in their award winning KIA Hamster advertising campaign.
It was just one record that catapulted Martin Solveig from a well-respected DJ into one of the most exciting producers and performers in the world. ‘Hello’ has now sold over 2 million copies and earned the man global recognition, achieving platinum status in America, Italy, Germany and Austria, as well as hitting twice platinum in Canada and in Australia.
His music videos are renowned as by far the best in their class and his performances continue to electrify audiences in every corner of the globe. All this combined with his super original Smash video series clocking up hundreds of millions of views on YouTube, makes him the one of the most distinguished electronic artists in the world.
With Solveig’s finesse for producing music so easily accessible came the demand from the biggest names in music, and right at the front was most successful female recording artist of all time – Madonna. The latter half of 2011 saw Martin Solveig achieve what is surely every pop producer's dream, immersing himself in the production of Madonna’s 12th studio album, ‘MDNA’.
The lead single from said album, ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’, a Solveig produced highlight, is just one of several cuts that will surely cement the Frenchman as a solid production force in an industry that seems intent on exploding. Dance music meets pop is well and truly here, and Martin Solveig is all over it.
