Stream M Ward's New Album A Week Before Release

Deezer, one of the world’s premier music streaming services, is excited to announce that the brand new album from critically-acclaimed Portland based troubadour M.Ward, A Wasteland Companion, will be available to stream on Deezer from 2 April 2012, a full week before it is officially released by Bella Union on 9 April 2012.

The album stream is available in 34 other participating Deezer territories including Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Portugal, Russia and Switzerland. In the UK, Clash Magazine will partner with Deezer, embedding a Deezer stream of thealbum on their website.

Since his last solo effort Hold Time, M.Ward has toured the globe, and released two albums as one half of Grammy-nominated duo She & Him and as part of the talented group of friends collectively known as Monsters Of Folk. Now M.Ward releases A Wasteland Companion to a flurry of online media buzz and critical acclaim. The album, consisting of 12 stunning tracks, was made with 18 musicians (including: Zooey Dechanel on vocals and Bright Eyes’ Mike Mogis on organ). It was recorded in eight different studios in Portland, Omaha, New York City, Los Angeles, Austin and Bristol.
