Funeral For A Friend Added To Slam Dunk, Headliners On Acoustic And Dance Stages

Funeral For A Friend have been announced for this years Slam Dunk festival.

“This years's Slam Dunk is gonna be full on. We're beyond excited for this, we've been itching to play since our last shows at the end of 2011 so be prepared for some in your face FFAF action!” says Matt (vocals).

Also added to the bill are 2 of the most hotly tipped upcoming UK bands. Current DIY magazine cover stars Canterbury will be performing songs from the forthcoming album Heavy In The Day, and math-core merchants Marmozets.

The brilliant Charlie Simpson will headline the Acoustic stage. He will be performing an exclusive stripped down intimate show which will be a must see for any fans.

Other performers on the acoustic stage will include the story telling prowess of Into It Over It, Shane Henderson formally of US pop punk band Valencia, and UK underground hero Rob Lynch. There will of course as usual be secret surprise acoustic performances by bands from the other stages.

A Hadouken DJ Set will headline the Dance Stage at both sites. The band, notoriously known for bringing the party will make no exception with their DJ set. More acts to be announced over the coming weeks.
