Jake Morley Tour Dates

Following a sold out headline gig to an ecstatic crowd at the Jazz Café as part of HMV Next Big Thing 2012, Jake Morley is set for a busy spring, with his debut album release and a 20 date headline UK tour in May.

His new single Sideline is released in May. In contrast to the upbeat previous single ‘Feet Don’t Fail Me Now’, follow-up single ‘Sideline’ is an emotional ballad showcasing Jake’s passionate voice and ability to pull on the heartstrings. Prior to that Jake plays a set of Open Mic nights around the UK when he willturning up solo armed with a guitar.

Jake’s intriguing lap tapping guitar style, his strong songs and engaging performances convert initially curious audiences into ardent fans at every gig. In 2011 he performed across the UK, from Thurso in Scotland down to Exeter. Along the way, he was asked to deliver a marriage proposal from the stage on behalf of one fan to another (she said yes!), one supporter spent 6 months making an animation video of one of Jake’s songs, several drove over 180 miles to see him play, many came to 4 or 5 gigs in a row with more friends each time, and another made a 10 foot long banner and hung it in the street to greet him.

National radio support has come from Dermot O’Leary, Jo Whiley, Janice Long, Alex Lester, Vanessa Feltz, Tom Robinson and Chris Hawkins, and over 40 regional radio stations. He’s received glowing national press reviews for his sold out gigs and performances including City Showcase, Music Week Breakout and two nights at the Hammersmith Apollo supporting Joe Bonamassa.
