Sennen have announced new shows in London, Norwich and Portsmouth this May to play tracks from their new album ‘Lost Harmony’, released April 16th through Indelabel.
The band’s latest full-length was recorded in Harlesden during last year’s London riots with David M. Allen [The Cure, Depeche Mode] and serves as the perfect backdrop for an album that mixes both the turbulent and the tranquil.
This tranquillity is perfectly showcased in the above live session video of new album track ‘No Love Song’ recorded at Islington Arts Factory this year.
A studio video from the making of ‘Lost Harmony’ has also been released:. You can see that one at – link
The tracks recorded for this album are lo-fi, tinged with hints of country, and the idea of not having to fulfill expectations was liberating for all involved. What emerged, moreover, turned out to be the finest collection of songs Sennen have ever created. The band have released a video blog this week taking you behind the scenes of the making of the new album at Lynchmob Studios last August. Look out for Sennen on the road at the following, new UK dates in May:
Thursday 10th May – London, Bull and Gate
Sunday 13th May – Portsmouth, Edge of Wedge
Wednesday 16th May – Norwich, Arts centre
