Nite Jewel: New Single and Tour News

With her second album “One Second of Love”, released earlier this year on Secretly Canadian, California native Ramona Gonzalez, aka Nite Jewel delivered what is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful, idiosyncratic and compelling pop records of the year, ingeniously collapsing the boundaries between 90s R&B, experimental electronica and offbeat pop into a luscious, seamless whole.

Taken from the album, “Memory, Man” is an irresistibly soulful slice of twinkling pop, by turns smooth and slinky, sophisticated and indelibly affecting. It’s just another example of what makes Nite Jewel stand out so effortlessly in the current musical landscape – a singular auteur who challenges pop norms while at the same time delivering beautiful music which could – and should – be embraced by the general populace.

In addition, Nite Jewel will be heading over to the UK for a string of shows later this summer, taking in gigs across the country, including an XOYO show on July 18th. Be sure not to miss this incredible star in the making.

Live dates in July:

10 – The Grand Social, Dublin
11 – Start the Bus, Bristol
12 – Erics, Liverpool
13 – Captain’s Rest, Glasgow
14 – Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
