New Music: 21 May 2012

It’s been a bad week for music, as we've lost disco queen Donna Summer, Bee Gee Robin Gibb and American bass great Donald “Duck” Dunn. Three very different musicians who all left their mark on the industry and will be missed by their millions of fans.

Some interesting new albums out this week, including a new one form The Temper Trap (see our live review) and The Slow Readers Club’s excellent debut (see our album review). Experimental three piece trioVD also have a new one out for those who like something a bit less mainstream, and we have a review of that one up too. Meanwhile in a recent rarity, Keane have managed to stay on top of the album charts for a second week.

On the singles side, we have reviews of releases from Nico and Platnum, two very different acts. And the excellent We Are Augustines, whom I had the pleasure of interviewing recently, release Juarez.

More reviews to come over the week, as well as some new videos and all the latest tour news – right here on Glasswerk.
