SOS Are Coming

Strawberry Ocean Sea, now going by the abbreviation and somewhat punkier moniker of SOS, return to Edinburgh this Saturday the 2nd of June to headline Sneaky Pete’s.

The band have been working hard on new songs in London and are due to release new single ‘Carry on Suzie’ as a free download in the coming weeks. All new material will be posted on the band’s new facebook page link.

SOS have enjoyed a couple of high profile shows in the capital supporting Glasvegas on tour at the HMV Picture House in April 2011 and also shared the stage with Mona at the Edge Festival in August of 2011. They bring their own night, a regular on the Glasgow music scene, to Edinburgh with special guests Huevo and the Giant, Ded Rabbit and Ewan Butler.

This is a great opportunity to catch new material before the band return to Glasgow to showcase their new single at Stairway (22nd June) and focus further efforts on a series of gigs in London over the Summer months.

With lyrics to believe in and a return to rock n roll basics, look out, SOS are coming.
