VIDEO: Amadou & Mariam – Wily Katso

Amadou & Mariam will release their new single ‘Wily Kataso’ through Because Music on 9th July. Taken from their recent album ‘Folila’, the single features Kyp and Tunde from TV On The Radio.

Featuring appearances by Santigold, Theophilus London, TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Bassekou Kouyaté, ‘Folila’ is the follow-up to 2009’s acclaimed ‘Welcome To Mali’. Amadou & Mariam met in 1977 while attending the Institute for Young Blind in Bamako. As their celebrity has grown around the world, the scope and ambition of their music has grown with it.

This laid back Afro-blues should see you perfectly through the summer – it's definitely doing the trick in the office today.
