Bella Union Reissues Van Dyke Parks

Van Dyke talks about his 1968 debut Song Cycle in this footage directed by his son Richard Parks.

London based label Bella Union be reissuing the first three solo albums by VAN DYKE PARKS, a man perhaps best know for his work with Brian Wilson on Smile and more recently with Joanna Newsom on Ys, but with his own music created a cinematic and fantastical depiction of life in modern America… 'Song Cycle, 'Discover America', and 'Clang Of The Yankee Reaper' are available this week on Bella Union.
