Well that was certainly relentless.
And I must admit that my first instinct waste turn it straight off almost as soon as it had started, but my role as music critic requires slightly more of me, so I let I Am The Least Of Your Problems play for its complete running time of a nudge over two and a half minutes.
And then I play it a second time, to really take it in.
So, what do we have here? It is heavy. And It is fast. And surprisingly it has a slight middle eastern feel to it. And perhaps the screaming isn’t quite as unbearable as the worst screamo offenders out there.
I guess that if heavy and fast and screamo is your type of thing, Future Of The Left may be a breath of fresh air, or perhaps I’m wrong, perhaps they are scorned for being different from their peers.
I suppose that with it’s screams about handjobs and a Morrocan lilt, it is a rather jaunty track, but I won’t be listening to it more than I absolutely need to in order to form my opinions.
