Meursault New Single Flittin’ Out July 9th 2012

July 9th marks the release of Flittin’, the first single to be taken from Something For The Weakened, the forthcoming third album from Edinburgh’s critically acclaimed Meursault through independent label Song, by Toad Records.

Flittin’ sees the synths and samplers familiar to Meursault’s fans replaced with intricate piano and string arrangements. With its all-encompassing soundscape, soaring vocals, driving drums, pounding guitar lines and the contrasting opulence of the strings, it is no wonder to see why Flittin’ has fast become a firm live favourite.

To coincide with the release of Something For The Weakened, Meursault will play an album launch gig at The Queen’s Hall in their hometown of Edinburgh on Saturday 7th July.

Flittin’ comes out on July 9thahead of the release of Something For The Weakened on July 16th, both through Song, By Toad Recordings.
